About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie for a luxury safari lodge in the North West. This live-in position is ideal for a skilled chef with a passion for creating high-quality cuisine in a fast-paced, luxury lodge environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present dishes according to the lodge’s menu and food standards
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all food served
- Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Assist with stock management, ordering, and rotation of ingredients
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including correct use of kitchen equipment and chemicals
- Support training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff when required
- Assist with banquets, special events, and game drive catering as needed
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a luxury lodge, hotel, or high-end hospitality environment
Strong culinary skills, including knowledge of hot and cold kitchen sections
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles
