About the Role
Takora is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team on the Airport Runway Project in the Northern Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee construction activities on the airport runway project
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Manage site agents and construction teams to achieve project objectives
- Coordinate with stakeholders and clients to ensure timely completion of projects
- Read and interpret technical drawings to inform construction decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor of Technology Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Manager or ECSA as a Technologist
- 10–18 years of relevant construction experience
- 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager or Site Agent
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Sound knowledge of construction methods and materials
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: Bachelor of Technology Degree in Civil Engineering
