About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Farm Manager to oversee our livestock operations in the Northern Cape region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in similar roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily farm operations, including livestock care and maintenance
• Oversee production processes, including irrigation systems for lucerne and maize
• Lead and motivate staff to achieve optimal performance
• Develop and implement effective management strategies to improve farm efficiency
• Maintain equipment and machinery, ensuring regular maintenance and repairs

Requirements

• Agricultural Diploma / Degree
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Passion for farming
• Previous experience with livestock (game, cattle, goats & sheep) essential
• In-depth experience with production (irrigation) – lucerne & maize
• Strong management and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and work with staff
• Maintenance and mechanical orientated

• Valid driver’s license
