About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is urgently looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team in Oudtshoorn. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and performing various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Keeping basic accounting records of clients.
- Preparation of financial statements.
- VAT processing for clients on Xero and Sage Accounting
- Handling of SAID inquiries and submission of supporting documents as required by SAID.
- Submission of income tax and VAT returns.
- Execution of basic accounting procedures
- Reconciliation of financial information of clients.
- Preparation of monthly management statements.
Requirements
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Xero and Sage Accounting. Bilingualism in both Afrikaans and English will count in the candidates favor. At least 3 years of relevant experience in the field. A completed SAIPA or SAICA clerkship is essential.
