About the Role

Rennie Farms, a leading producer and supplier of fresh produce with Head Office in Paarl, is seeking an experienced Grower/Farmer/Production Manager to join our team at one of our Paarl farms. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of your section, including managing staff, assessing employee performances, and implementing strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage staff reporting to this position
• Assess employees’ performances
• Implement and maintain strict safety and quality standards
• Responsible for all growing and harvesting required
• Oversee daily farm operations

Requirements

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate or Diploma in Agriculture required
• 2-5 years practical farming experience with cucumbers, peppers, and tomatoes
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work overtime and alternative weekends
• South African ID compulsory

Qualifications

• Diploma in Agriculture or related field required for Grade 12 Senior Certificate holders
• Degree in Agriculture preferred
