About the Role

Our Commercial dealer client based in Pinetown is seeking an experienced Team Leader/Working Foreman with a strong background in the heavy commercial vehicle industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring continuous service delivery across various aspects of the workshop, onsite, and during standby.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and drive productivity and efficiency to achieve set targets.
• Achieve sold hours target.
• Minimize rectifications through continuous improvement of workmanship.
• Supervise and ensure training of staff in the workshop.
• Plan and manage workshop loading.
• Ensure that health, safety, and environmental procedures are adhered to.

Requirements

• Grade 12 Matric Certificate.
• N3 with a trade test certificate as an Auto Electrician/Diesel Mechanic.
• EC or EC1 drivers license.
• Strong Diagnostic Abilities.
• Good communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills.
• Customer focused with a results driven approach.
• Pro-active, highly motivated, and pay attention to detail.
