About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Water Distribution Engineer/Manager to join our client’s team in Nelspruit. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, constructing, maintaining, and repairing water and sewer infrastructure, as well as managing financial aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, construction, maintenance, and repair of water and sewer infrastructure
- Financial management and budgeting
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and automatic control systems such as SCADA
Requirements
- Extensive experience in planning, construction, maintenance, and repair of water and sewer infrastructure
- Financial management and budgeting skills
- Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of automatic control systems such as SCADA
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Bachelor’s Technikon degree in Civil Engineering specializing in Water Engineering
- Registered as a professional engineer/technician with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
- 5 to 10 years relevant experience in water and sewer distribution network management
