Maintenance Manager | Luxury Hotel | Plettenberg Bay

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join a luxury hotel based in Plettenberg Bay. This position requires a hands-on professional with strong technical knowledge and proven managerial experience within a high-end hospitality environment. Please note that accommodation is not provided, so applicants must already reside in the area.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications Required:

• 35 years experience in a 5-star hotel or similar environment

• Managerial experience in maintenance operations

• Experience in planning and executing maintenance projects

• Computer literacy

• Solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems

• Motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic approach

• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude

• Willingness to work shifts and under pressure

Key Performance Objectives:

• Take ownership of all maintenance challenges relating to plumbing, electrical, and general repairs

• Develop, implement, and oversee maintenance procedures

• Inspect facilities and identify effective solutions to challenges

• Ensure regular servicing of refrigerators and air conditioners

• Oversee general equipment, services, and external contractors

• Maintain strong relationships with external service providers and contractors

• Purchase and maintain stock levels required for daily maintenance operations

• Manage the maintenance budget effectively

Package:

• Salary: R30,000 R35,000 per month (Negotiable depending on experience)
