About the Role
As an Operations Manager: Security PE, you will lead and supervise all daily security operations with a focus on client satisfaction, building strong relationships with clients and service providers, and ensuring prompt resolution of client issues. You will be part of a collaborative, values-driven culture within an established portfolio, with opportunities for long-term growth and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all daily security operations
- Build and manage strong relationships with clients and service providers
- Oversee new site launches, transitions, and contract handovers
- Monitor SLAs, cost management, and quality of security service delivery
- Ensure prompt resolution of client issues and proactive engagement
- Manage operational budgets, staffing, and resource planning
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain H&S and security compliance
- Lead staff through performance reviews, coaching, and team development
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in security operations management
- Proven experience within the security industry
- Valid PSIRA Grade A registration certificate
- Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
- Clear criminal record
- Strong leadership, planning, and client-facing skills
- Knowledge of security legislation, H&S compliance, and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Relevant management qualification (advantageous)
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive package: R25 000 – R26 000 CTC (based on experience and qualifications)
