About the Role
As a Senior German Reservationist at Bushwise, you will be responsible for ensuring all interactions with guests are personalized, professional, warm and welcoming. You will respond to e-mails from guests and travel agents, liaise with housekeeping, butlers and waiters, and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to e-mails from guests and travel agents
- Liaise with housekeeping, butlers and waiters keeping them up to date with expected arrivals and other guest requests
- Knowledge of all rates, special offers , value adds and any special requests
- Liaise with guests to book airport shuttles and tours
- Monitor room availability
- Conduct site visits, book events and conferences
- Prompt processing of cancellations and modifications
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Diploma in hospitality management/tourism
- A minimum of 2-3 years of recent or current experience in a similar position.
- Exceptional English abilities – Written & Spoken
- Passionate, energetic, smart working team player with strong communication skills
- Well-presented candidate who is able to stay calm under pressure, meet deadlines and work accurately
- Stable work history
- Proficient MS Office skills
- Knowledge of a hotel management system (CRS) like OPERA and Semper etc. Will be an added advantage
