About the Role
The B2B Business Development Manager role is a critical position responsible for driving growth in Built In products sales, market share, and revenue through strategic planning, business development, and consultative sales. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and implement product strategies, build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to achieve company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Built In product strategy and business plans for allocated specific products
- Engage new enterprise customers and find new business opportunities
- Develop new solution packages and new business models with partners using full range of Company and partner products and solutions
- Provide right solutions packages and make proposals with in-depth understanding of customer business, needs, and usages
- Ensure alignment with overall business strategy to support company objectives
- Understand partner needs, identify market opportunity, define the vision, and deliver
- Strategize and plan around product promotion based on accurate understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities
- Manage each allocated product’s life cycle, including product launch plans and actual launches as well as sustaining existing products
- Grow Company’s Built In products market share
- Indicate to Product Directors on stock status per channel
- Develop promotional campaigns in line with specific channels and products
- Analyze market share knowledge and customer needs to increase revenue
- Accurately forecast by channel
- Ensure enough stock of right staff to avoid LTI Budget Controls
- Deliver return on investment and build brand sustainability
- Effectively solve problems and manage risk to ensure achievement of targets
- Perform performance vs. budget by unit and Rand Value Accounts analysis by Channel including sell out management to establish profit
Requirements
- 10 years sales experience over varied industries
- Sales and Marketing experience
- MS Office Suite (Intermediate)
- Possession of a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
