About the Role

The Eastern Cape: DC Manager is a key leadership position responsible for the end-to-end operational management of a designated Distribution Centre (DC). The successful candidate will ensure efficient receiving, picking, dispatching, stock integrity, and service delivery aligned to productivity, cost, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations within the DC.
  • Ensure effective planning and execution of inbound and outbound activities.
  • Manage workforce allocation to support demand, volume fluctuations, and service requirements.
  • Monitor and optimise picking, put-away, replenishment, dispatch, and loading processes.
  • Implement and enforce operational SOPs, compliance standards, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • 10 years DC experience, with at least 5 years in a Management role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, Dispatch).
  • Experience managing high-volume FMCG, perishables, or grocery operations (advantage).
