Job Description

Senior Storeman We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Storeman to oversee all store operations, ensure effective stock control, and maintain high standards of organisation and efficiency within the warehouse/store environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent administrative skills, and prior experience within the motor industry. Key Responsibilities Stock Control & Inventory Management Manage and maintain accurate stock levels at all times Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies Monitor stock movement and ensure timely replenishment Implement and maintain effective stock control systems Storekeeping & Housekeeping Ensure the store/warehouse is clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards Maintain proper storage practices to protect stock from damage or loss Ensure all items are correctly labelled and stored in designated locations Administration & Control Oversee all store-related administrative functions, including documentation and record-keeping Ensure accurate capturing of stock transactions and reporting Maintain proper filing systems for stock records, deliveries, and dispatches Monitor and control store-related processes to ensure efficiency and compliance People Management & Communication Supervise and support store staff where applicable Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills when liaising with internal departments and suppliers Promote a positive and productive working environment Operational Support Assist with receiving, checking, and dispatching of goods Ensure all deliveries are verified against documentation Support logistics and coordination of stock movement when required Key Requirements Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Senior Storeman or similar supervisory role Experience in the Motor Industry will be advantageous Valid driver’s licence
