About the Role
The Technical Marketing Advisor – Crop Protection role is a critical position in driving business growth and development for our company’s crop protection products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, business development, and agriculture, with excellent technical skills and industry credibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Offering technical service to Distributor and Distributor representatives while creating marketing opportunities to drive sales.
- Business development and driving business support initiatives to reach regional budget targets.
- Contributing to training programs, delivering product presentations, and demonstrating products.
- Defining demonstration trials plans, implementing trials, and presenting results.
- Maintaining customer database, supporting key promotional activities, and developing a key account approach.
- Conducting commercial trial work on new remedies and crop monitoring systems.
- Developing and maintaining digital crop monitoring systems in alignment with the company’s strategic plan.
- Coordinating agent service and technical support.
- Utilizing commercial and demonstration trial locations for marketing/demo day venues.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of markets and agricultural products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Agriculture
- BASOS and AVCASA accreditation (or ability to obtain within the first year)
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in crop protection industry marketing and business development positions
- Good business/market intelligence and excellent technical skills regarding marketing tools and strategies
- Broad knowledge of agrochemical and agricultural input industry, with strong industry credibility and value chain expertise
- Strong understanding of bio-stimulant and innovative nutrition, key competitors in the market
- General knowledge of market and regulatory processes
