About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Production Manager to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. Your expertise in food safety compliance, inventory management, and staff supervision will be invaluable in driving efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising daily production activities.
- Ensure production schedules are followed to meet customer order deadlines.
- Monitor production output and adjust workflows to improve efficiency.
- Support the coordination of raw materials, packaging materials, and production resources.
- Assist in managing production lines for seasoning blends, flavour compounds, and related products.
Requirements
- Production planning and scheduling experience
- Process production on Pastel software
- Food safety compliance (FSSC22000 / GMP)
- Staff supervision and team leadership skills
- Problem-solving and process improvement abilities
- Quality control and batch management expertise
- Strong organizational and communication skills
