Our client, a highly regarded player in the wealth planning space, is seeking a seasoned professional to join their team. This role sits within a sophisticated Wealth Planning division and focuses on delivering expert-level estate and fiduciary advisory services to high-net-worth clients.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to authority on complex estate structures, trusts, and tax-efficient planning strategies. You will lead from the front, guiding Financial Planners, influencing client strategy, and ensuring that every recommendation is not only compliant but also clever.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced estate planning strategies, including trust structures and tax-efficient solutions.
• Provide expert advice on estate duty, CGT, income tax, and fiduciary implications.
• Review and sign off on complex estate and risk analyses prepared by Financial Planners. 
• Act as the subject matter expert across estate and fiduciary planning.
• Ensure compliance with legislation such as the Estate Duty Act, Income Tax Act, and Trust Property Control Act. 
• Collaborate with Wealth Planners, Advisors, legal, tax, and fiduciary specialists on complex client cases. 
• Provide mentorship, training, and technical guidance to Financial Planners.
• Oversee estate planning reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and top-tier quality.
• Monitor legislative changes and adjust strategies accordingly. 

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Relevant degree (BCom, Finance, Accounting, or LLB). 
• Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning. 
• CFP® designation (non-negotiable).
• Advanced Diploma in Estate Planning.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in estate planning, with exposure to complex trust structures. 
• Strong knowledge of estate planning, fiduciary law, and tax legislation. 
• Exceptional analytical thinking and attention to detail. 
• Strong communication skills, able to simplify the complex.
