About the Role
To lead the design, optimisation, and alignment of business operations with strategic goals by improving processes, enhancing productivity, and ensuring effective delivery of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business enablement and transformation strategies in partnership with internal teams.
- Identify opportunities to redesign and automate processes to improve efficiency, quality, and operational effectiveness.
- Lead initiatives to standardise, digitise, and optimise processes across the organisation.
- Partner with departments to identify gaps, understand requirements, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Oversee and execute projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality standards.
- Ensure successful adoption of business solutions, including facilitation of change management strategies and interventions.
- Mentor and guide team members to achieve strategic objectives and personal development goals.
Requirements
- Postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) in Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience, including at least 5 years in senior management roles.
- Proven track record in project and/or programme management from feasibility to implementation.
- Strong understanding of process reengineering principles, systems development life-cycle methodologies, and project/change management frameworks.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable operational impact.
