About the Role
The Integration Manager will provide leadership with regard to Enterprise Integration (EI) of IT Ridge Technologies, providing input into the development of policies, processes, and standards. This role involves managing the delivery of work objectives, including the management of requests for EI development, prioritization of work based on business needs and available resources, and defining operational quality assurance and unit testing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership with regard to EI of the Company and provide input into the development of policies, processes and standards.
- Manage the delivery of work objectives, including managing requests for EI development and prioritizing work based on business needs and available resources;
- Define and operationalise quality assurance and unit testing procedures to ensure high-quality solutions;
- Lead and oversee ongoing maintenance and supporting for the EI platform;
- Monitor business use and performance of the EI platforms and other integration components, and provide feedback to business support areas, database administrators and infrastructure engineers;
- Provide leadership in an effort to ensure consistency and integrity within the EI environments;
- Manage EI improvement and growth initiatives, estimating EI work efforts and durations, and overseeing design, construction, testing and the implementation of EI programmes, processes and cycles for large and complex projects;
- Represent EI on technology standards and architectural design committees;
- Interact with vendors on the selection, implementation, configuration and maintenance of EI-related software and recommend and implement programmes to address cost reduction and/or improve productivity;
- Manage the design and implementation of redundant systems within the EI environments, including policies and procedures for disaster recovery to ensure effective availability, protection and integrity of EI assets.
- Work in accordance with information technology (IT) governance standards and processes, including the company’s policies, procedures and other legislative requirements;
- Manage the performance and development of the EI CoE team members and ensure training and mentoring of technical staff as necessary based on best practices.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Engineering or an equivalent qualification;
- 8 to 10 years experience in a large-scale EI environment or equivalent ICT environment, with at least 3 years experience in a management or supervisory role.
