About the Role
As an Internal Earthmoving Equipment Sales Consultant at Career Crew Ltd, you will be responsible for driving sales of heavy machinery to mining, construction, and plant hire clients in Pretoria. With a strong focus on building relationships and identifying new business opportunities, this role requires a proven track record in sales and technical product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
• Sales Generation & Growth: Proactively prospect and win new business through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
• Customer Consultations: Act as a technical expert to understand client requirements and offer tailored heavy machinery solutions.
• Tender/Quotation Prep: Prepare and submit accurate sales orders, proposals, and quotations.
• Relationship Management: Maintain and grow relationships with construction, mining, and rental clients.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain expert knowledge of machine specifications and performance, particularly in “yellow metal”.
• Aftersales Support: Collaborate with service departments for machine delivery and warranty support.
Requirements
Experience: 3–5 years of sales experience within the heavy machinery, earthmoving, or plant hire industry.
Education: Grade 12 (minimum) or a diploma in Sales/Marketing.
Technical Aptitude: Understanding of construction equipment functionality.
Skills: Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in CRM/MS Office.
Requirements: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites.
