About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic Technician to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our automotive repair team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting complex faults in petrol and diesel engines, transmissions, steering, and braking systems. You will also perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance services, ensuring that all work meets high standards and adheres to technical bulletins, service guidelines, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests using advanced equipment (e.g., ISTA)
- Repair and maintain complex electronic and mechanical faults in engines, transmissions, steering, and braking systems
- Ensure all work on job cards is completed to high standards, including road testing vehicles to verify repairs
- Accurately document all repairs, maintenance services, and diagnostic findings on repair orders
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience in the automotive industry (with a focus on high-performance vehicles)
- Clear criminal record with Matric certification
- Qualified Trade in Motor Mechanic (Petrol /Diesel) or equivalent qualification
Qualifications
- Completed Matric certification
- Relevant trade qualification in Motor Mechanic (Petrol /Diesel)
