If you understand mining environments, enjoy solving technical challenges, and have a passion for sales this role is perfect for you Key Responsibilities: Technical Sales & Client Support Promote and sell lubrication systems, bearings, and custom-engineered fabrication products into mining operations. Conduct site visits to assess client needs and identify improvement opportunities. Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals. Business Development Identify and secure new business in the mining sector. Build and grow long-term relationships with maintenance, engineering, and reliability teams. Manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and reporting. Engineering Expertise Provide technical advice on lubrication, bearing applications, and fabricated components. Assist clients with product selection, troubleshooting, and maintenance recommendations. Collaborate with internal engineering teams to design tailored solutions. Customer Relationship Management Offer after-sales technical support to ensure optimal product performance. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Job Experience & Skills Required: NDip / BTech / BEng Mechanical Engineering or related technical field. Mechanical trade qualification is advantageous. 35 years technical sales experience in mining or similar heavy industrial sectors. Lubrication systems (manual or automated) Industrial bearings Fabricated engineering components Established relationships within mining maintenance or engineering departments is a strong advantage. Ability to read engineering drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Understanding of mining equipment (screens, conveyors, crushers, pumps, etc.). Strong communication and presentation abilities. Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. Willing to travel regularly to mining sites.
