About the Role

Established high-end restaurant in Pretoria East is seeking a senior kitchen manager to oversee the daily operations of the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have 6 years of relevant experience in managing restaurant kitchens, with a focus on stock management, variance control, staff management, and reporting. A hands-on management style and ability to multi-task are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Manage kitchen stock levels and monitor variances
Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
Prepare and submit daily and monthly stock reports
Maintain kitchen hygiene and adherence to health and safety regulations

Requirements

6 years of experience in managing a restaurant kitchen
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Proficiency in point-of-sale systems, including experience with inventory management
Experience with food cost control and budgeting

Qualifications
