About the Role
Takora is seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for designing and evaluating structural systems for various projects. Your expertise in civil engineering and structural analysis principles will be crucial in delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate structural systems for various projects
- Develop and implement calculations and problem-solving strategies for design and evaluation
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
- Maintain competence in CAD software and other relevant tools
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (strongly preferred)
- 5-10 years of experience as a structural engineer
- Experience in civil engineering and related infrastructure development
- Understanding of local building codes, standards, and administrative processes
- Strong skills in Calculations and problem-solving for design and evaluation
- Proficiency in Structural Engineering and Structural Analysis principles
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering)
