About the Role
A leading luxury safari and travel company is seeking an experienced East African Luxury Travel Consultant to join their growing team, specialising in tailor-made journeys across Africa. The successful candidate will work directly with clients as well as lodges and camps across East Africa to curate seamless, unforgettable safari experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and sell tailor-made luxury safari and travel experiences across East Africa.
• Consult directly with clients to understand their travel preferences, expectations, and interests.
• Liaise with lodges, camps, and local suppliers to coordinate seamless travel arrangements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional levels of service throughout the booking journey.
• Stay up to date with destination knowledge, industry trends, new properties, and travel regulations.
• Achieve individual sales targets while contributing to the wider team’s success.
Requirements
Proven experience as a luxury travel consultant with strong East Africa exposure. In-depth knowledge of East African destinations, safari lodges, camps, and experiences. Strong direct-to-client sales experience within the luxury travel sector. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment. Passion for travel, wildlife, and creating exceptional client experiences.
