About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Team Leader to join our team at Sharon Nurock Recruitment cc in Pretoria. As a key member of our security systems support team, you will be responsible for leading daily operations of access control, CCTV, alarms, intrusion and physical electronic security systems across multiple sites. Your expertise will ensure all systems are functional, reliable, and available.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of access control, CCTV, alarms, intrusion and physical electronic security systems.
- Ensure all systems are functional, reliable and available across multiple sites.
- Manage faults, anomalies, system failures and maintenance activities.
- Maintain governance frameworks ensuring compliance and operational standards.
- Oversee operational reporting, dashboards and performance metrics.
- Lead, mentor and develop a diverse technical support team of 6.
- Drive risk identification and mitigation strategies for all security systems.
- Coordinate with ICT teams where system performance relies on networks, servers or digital platforms.
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years’ experience in management of electronic security systems.
- Sound knowledge of the security incident management, security management, relevant legislation and regulations, electronic security systems, computer-based systems and SANS Standards; and
- Experience in information technology systems will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in team leadership or supervisory roles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
