About the Role
We are seeking a highly disciplined and experienced Registered Tax Practitioner to join our team as a Tax Administrator. As a specialist in technical tax administration, you will be responsible for managing full-function SARS administration and high-volume e-filing, handling tax registrations, submissions, and complex technical queries, and overseeing a shared portfolio of approximately 300 clients within a collaborative 3-person team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-function SARS administration and high-volume e-filing.
- Handle tax registrations, submissions, and complex technical queries.
- Oversee a shared portfolio of approximately 300 clients within a collaborative 3-person team.
- Ensure all statutory deadlines are met with absolute precision.
- Maintain accurate records using Greatsoft (preferred) or similar tax management systems.
- Ensure all client tax affairs are handled with the highest level of integrity and professional standards.
- Act as a reliable point of contact for technical tax matters within the accounting team.
Requirements
- MUST be a Registered Tax Practitioner (Current and in good standing).
- Extensive experience in SARS administration and e-filing.
- Fluent in Afrikaans (essential for the office environment and client base).
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Taxation is preferred but not essential if you have exceptional, proven experience.
Salary & Benefits
- +- R30,000 per month (Negotiable for the right candidate).
