About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Wedding & Sales Coordinator to join our team at a prestigious hotel based in Centurion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and has a passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences while driving revenue through sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute weddings and special events from start to finish
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Conduct site inspections and client meetings to showcase the venue
- Prepare and present tailored proposals and quotations
- Drive sales by securing new business and maintaining client relationships
- Liaise with internal departments (kitchen, banqueting, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure seamless event execution
- Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics
- Ensure all administrative tasks, contracts, and invoices are completed accurately
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry (hotel experience advantageous)
- Strong sales ability with a customer-focused approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously
