Job Description

The suitable candidates main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Conduct theoretical and practical security training; Training administration including accurate record keeping; Conducting of SASSETA, PSIRA and in-house training programs; Encourage a strong sense of discipline amongst BPC Security Officers; Ensure training interventions as required by legislation and the relevant control bodies; Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification; Registered Grade A PSIRA Instructor; SASSETA registered assessor and moderator; PFTC registered firearm instructor for business purposes – Handgun, Rifle and Shotgun; Registered National Key Point instructor; Knowledge and understanding of the relevant legislation; Minimum 5 years experience in a security training department; Ability to work as a team; Must be able to work weekends when required; Residence close to the training centre would be advantageous; Must be prepared to travel as and when required; Own Vehicle, Drivers License and PDP; Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;
