Job Summary

This is a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Billing & Banking Oversight: Manage end-to-end billing and banking processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Customer Engagement Management: Oversee the debtors’ customer engagement function to maintain strong relationships and streamline collections.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the billing and banking team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
- Policy & Procedure Management: Develop, implement, and maintain departmental policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Reporting & Analysis: Produce timely and accurate reports on billing, banking, and staff performance, providing insights for decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Collections Manager, Vetting Manager, and Line Manager, to align financial processes and objectives.
- Training & Development: Ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills and training to meet departmental goals effectively.
Key Requirements:
- Completed Diploma/Degree in Finance or Credit Management.
- Strong understanding of billing, banking, and accounts receivable processes.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including journal postings.
- Experience in staff supervision, reporting, and financial process optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a team effectively.
