About the Role
Our client operates in the ecotourism and wildlife conservation sector, offering immersive experiences in South Africa’s natural landscapes. They are committed to providing high-quality wildlife and nature experiences while promoting sustainable conservation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct guided game drives and walking trails
- Assist with wildlife monitoring and tracking
- Maintain trails, equipment, and general camp facilities
- Implement first aid and safety procedures when required
- Support visitor engagement with educational talks on wildlife and conservation
- Conduct track and sign identification and reporting
- Assist senior rangers with operational tasks
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
- Record and report sightings and incidents
- Maintain professional conduct with guests at all times
- Support photographic and birding experiences for guests
Requirements
- FGASA NQF4 (Field Guide) qualification
- First Aid Level 1
- Track and sign identification
- General maintenance skills
- Code B & PDP driver’s licence
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Photography, birding, or trail guiding experience advantageous
Qualifications
FGASA NQF4 (Field Guide) qualification is required. Other qualifications not mentioned.
