About the Role
The Quality Engineer role at Staff Solutions is a full-time opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team as a critical member of our quality management department. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality management systems in manufacturing industries, analyzing and improving processes, and ensuring that all operations adhere to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing quality management systems in manufacturing industries.
- Creating and maintaining company documentation such as quality manuals and quality procedures.
- Troubleshooting problems or flaws in the item provided for testing.
- Analyzing, identifying, and implementing manufacturing and/or business process improvements which will improve capability and performance.
- Meeting with members of the production team to offer recommendations and share results.
- Maintaining and controlling calibration records for all test and inspection equipment.
- Applying good manufacturing practice and observing that it is being adhered to.
- Performing tests and measurements using existing measurement equipment.
- Participating in teams to help make necessary improvements and changes to all process related issues in the production department.
- Analyzing audit reports/results in terms of repeated deficiencies, reviewing with process owners.
Requirements
- B-Tech Industrial or Mechanical Engineering qualification.
- Total Quality Management experience.
- ISO Standards (Standard Internal Auditor) certification.
- Customer Standards and IATF compliance.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
- Six Sigma Tools understanding and implementation.
- Minimum 5-year experience in the manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3-year experience on press tools or assembly process.
- Minimum 5-year experience and/or background in the Automotive Industry.
