Job Title: Payroll Manager – Logistics

Location: Johannesburg

Position Overview:
Hire Resolve is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join our client’s logistics team in Johannesburg. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees within the logistics division.
2. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to payroll, including tax withholding, social security contributions, and wage garnishments.
3. Review and approve payroll calculations, deductions, and adjustments before finalizing payments.
4. Coordinate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate recording of payroll data and maintain payroll records.
5. Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors.
6. Respond to employee inquiries and issues related to payroll in a timely and professional manner.
7. Stay up to date on changes in payroll laws and regulations, and implement necessary updates to payroll processes.
8. Prepare payroll reports and analysis for management as needed.
9. Oversee payroll software and system updates, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing.

Qualifications:
– Matric
– Minimum of 10 years prior experience within Payroll, where atleast 4 was in a supervisory or manager role.
-Relevant SAGE qualification
-Work with High Level confidentiality
-Knowledge of NBC Levies and Applications preferred
-Knowledge of HansaWorld system preferred
