About the Role
The Rail Maintenance Specialist role is a critical component of Sasol’s operations, requiring a skilled professional to provide engineering services and technical support to Business Units servicing the retail service station network.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate project requests
- Compile scope of work and calculate cost estimates
- Schedule projects and control contractors
- Perform regular site visits
- Prepare and submit annual budgets
- Liaise with contract departments
- Investigate customer claims
- Compile project status reports
Requirements
- Relevant 6 years or more experience in rail maintenance or a related field
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of engineering practices
- Excellent communication and project management skills
Qualifications
University Bachelor’s Degree
