About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Customer Service Manager to lead our help desk team in Somerset West. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of achieving service targets and driving operational excellence. They will be responsible for managing and developing high-performing teams, setting clear expectations and KPIs, and ensuring consistency and high-quality support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the help desk team to ensure high levels of performance and morale
- Build a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Develop and execute a help desk strategy that aligns with company goals
- Motivate the team to consistently meet or exceed their KPIs
- Serve as the final escalation point for critical or complex support cases
- Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), including ticket resolution times
Requirements
- 35 years of experience in managing sales, customer service, technical support or help desk teams
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proactive mindset and solution-driven approach
- Demonstrable success in prior sales/customer-service roles
- Track record of achieving service targets
Qualifications
- Matric
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Marketing, Management, Business Administration, or related field)
