About the Role
The Branch Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our branch, ensuring seamless customer service and driving sales growth. This is a key leadership role that requires strong administrative, sales, and operational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily admin: orders, invoicing, customer queries, cash and banking
- Coordinate deliveries, collections and liaise with Head Office
- Maintain customer records and general office processes
- Supervise the branch driver/storeman and ensure duties are completed
- Ensure reporting, compliance and smooth daily operations
- Achieve monthly sales targets
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Prepare and follow up on quotes
- Identify new business opportunities and grow the customer base
- Ensure high levels of customer service
- Manage stock ordering from Head Office, control and reconciliations
- Monitor and resolve stock variances
- Safeguard branch stock, assets, vehicle and premises
Requirements
- Matric
- Previous experience in technical sales
- 5 years experience in similar branch/admin/operations role
