About the Role
Uniglo Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Assistant (Contractor) to support installation commissioning activities on onshore oil & gas projects. This hands-on, site-based role requires a candidate who is physically fit, safety conscious, and comfortable working at heights in industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation Support: Assist with laying and routing of electrical and instrumentation cables
- Cable Glanding and Termination Preparation: Prepare for cable glanding and termination activities
- Radar Level Equipment Installation: Assist with the installation of radar level equipment
- Flow Meters and Weighing Systems Installation: Install flow meters and weighing systems
- Field Instrumentation Installation: Mount field instrumentation and associated hardware
- Site Support Activities: Carry tools, materials, and equipment as required
- Basic Electrical and Mechanical Site Activities: Assist with basic electrical and mechanical site activities
Requirements
Basic electrical or electronic knowledge
Basic hand tool experience
Ability to follow technical instructions
Good physical fitness and mobility
Ability to work outdoors in industrial environments
Comfortable working safely at heights
Strong awareness of workplace safety

Salary & Benefits
Estimated duration: 2040 days depending on project requirements. International travel may be required, with client-provided PPE and visa assistance where applicable.

Medical & Physical Requirements include being medically fit for industrial site work and able to climb tanks and stair structures daily.
