About the Role
Bushwise is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at our Lodge in Nylstroom, Limpopo. As a Live-in position, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day food and beverage operations while ensuring consistency with company standards, achieving optimum financial results, and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all F&B outlets (including restaurant and boma dining) within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
- Identify customer needs proactively; greet guests and host in public areas as needed.
- Assist with financial management, monitor reporting structures, and handle F&B rosters.
- Recruit, train, and mentor the F&B team to foster a “culture of learning” and unique brand identity.
- Oversee orders, stock takes, and waste management systems.
- Ensure full adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Stand in for the Assistant Resident Manager during off days or holidays.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the hospitality industry with a solid track record in similar management roles.
- Education: Matric is the minimum requirement; a hospitality or culinary qualification is highly beneficial.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel) and knowledge of PMS systems like Opera or Symphony.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid RSA ID and a valid Drivers License.
- Competencies: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a “guest-oriented” mindset.

Salary & Benefits
- Salary: R18,000 – R20,000 gross per month
- Medical Aid: 50% company contribution (Discovery)
