About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Field Guide & Lodge Operations professional to join our team in South Africa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing lodge maintenance and upkeep, and supporting staff management and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct two game drives per day on rotation
- Deliver exceptional interpretive guiding and guest engagement
- Manage lodge maintenance and overall property upkeep
- Assist in staff Management and training
- Support lodge operations and step into management when required
- Participate in guest hosting and camp operations
- Conduct weekly town trips when required
- Assist with lodge administration and operational oversight
Requirements
Previous experience in a 4/5* lodge environment
Strong guiding background (Trails Guide preferred)
Minimum Qualifications:
- FGASA Level 1
- FGASA Lead Trails Guide
- FGASA ARH First aid level 1
- Valid PRDP NQF2 (including unit standards 8440&8478)
- VPDA First Aid Level 1
