Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a dynamic operational environment Contribute to process improvements and financial controls Lead and develop a growing finance team Exposure to impactful, business‑critical financial planning and reporting Collaborative culture with strong emphasis on accountability and performance What you will be doing: Supporting the Head of Finance in day‑to‑day finance operations Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts Ensuring accurate general ledger processing, reviews, and reconciliations Managing cash flow planning and banking processes Overseeing debtors, creditors, and revenue reconciliations Ensuring SARS compliance and all statutory submissions Participating in and managing year‑end audit processes Implementing and maintaining financial controls, policies, and procedures Identifying and driving finance process improvements Monitoring operational costs and ensuring accurate cost allocations Leading and developing junior finance staff Building a high‑performance culture within the finance team Partnering effectively with operational teams to support business objectives What we are looking for: BCom Accounting / Finance degree or equivalent SAICA AGA, SAIPA, or CIMA (essential) 2-3 years’ post‑article experience in a commercial / non‑audit environment Proven experience managing people and finance processes Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience in transport, logistics, or operational environments (advantageous) High attention to detail and strong analytical ability Proven leadership and team development capability Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems Ability to manage pressure, deadlines, and multiple priorities Process‑driven mindset with ability to identify inefficiencies Benefits and unique aspects: Leadership opportunity with direct visibility to senior management A role with scope for impact, innovation, and process optimisation Supportive environment that encourages professional growth If you haven’t heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time.
