Lead and mentor the members of the finance team, promoting a culture of accountability, accuracy and service excellence Oversee the full financial accounting function, including journals, reconciliations, month-end, management accounts and intercompany transactions Financial systems management and development according to business and reporting needs Drive profitability through continuous review of departmental cost structures, margins and yields Lead annual budgeting and forecast cycles, collaborating closely with the Heads of Department to ensure realistic, data-driven forecasting Perform preliminary analysis of the variances between budgets, actuals, forecasts, statistics and KPIs Management of internal and external auditing processes, ensuring processes and systems are compliant with best business practice and audit requirements and findings Ensure compliance with VAT, Income Tax, PAYE, U.I.F, SDL, and other statutory obligations.
