About the Role
A well-established 5-star Boutique Hotel requires a hands-on, passionate General Manager to lead this niche property and drive excellence across all areas of the business. Career Scope: We are looking for a strong all-rounder who thrives in a boutique environment and leads from the front.
Key Responsibilities
- Full daily management of the property, ensuring all departments run seamlessly.
- Driving occupancy, revenue, and yield strategies to meet financial targets.
- Managing budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing P&L performance.
- Overseeing reservations, sales, and maintaining strong relationships with travel agents.
- Maintaining exceptional service standards and personally ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Leading, motivating, and developing the staff to maintain a high-performance culture.
- Managing food and beverage performance, including menu costing and quality control.
- Overseeing maintenance, general property upkeep, and special projects.
- Ensuring the property meets all legal, health, safety, and operational standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a General Manager or senior hospitality leadership role within a 4/5-star environment.
- Strong financial and business skills with a focus on profitability.
- Excellent staff management skills with a proactive, “lead by example” approach.
- Strong understanding of revenue management and reservations systems.
