About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Head Chef to lead our culinary department at a remote safari lodge in Namibia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences that align with our brand’s high standards and guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute seasonal, lodge-appropriate menus
  • Lead and manage the kitchen brigade
  • Control food costs, stock, and supplier relationships
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Collaborate with F&B leadership on guest experiences and events

Requirements

  • Qualified chef with 5+ years experience in a senior kitchen role
  • Lodge, fine-dining, or boutique hospitality background preferred
  • Strong leadership and menu development skills
  • Cost control and kitchen administration expertise

Qualifications
