About the Role
HotelJobs is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head Field Guide to join our team at the luxury 5* game lodge in Sabi Sands Game Reserve, Mpumalanga. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading trails, managing the guide department, and providing exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of the Guide Department
- Assistance around the lodge and in other departments when required
- Bush clearing, field maintenance, and veld management
- Hosting meals and guest enhancement and experience
- Vehicle maintenance and upkeep
Requirements
- Valid RSA Drivers License
- PDP Minimum NQF 4 with a minimum requirement of backup trails
- Lead trails will be considered an advantage
- NDT Registration (Mpumalanga)
- Valid First Aid with Wilderness component
- 4 Years’ Experience as a Senior Field Guide / Head Guide in a Big 5 Game Reserve

- Package: Live in position
- 8 days off per month
