About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in South Africa. As a key member of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for managing the operational procedures involved with forecasting, coordinating, scheduling, transport & shipment of perishables to Europe, Mediterranean, Russia & Baltic for container and conventional. You will communicate with suppliers and clients on deviations, manage internal and external communication / information requirements, and coordinate workflow to ensure seamless delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational procedures involved with forecasting, co-ordination, scheduling, transport & shipment of perishables to Europe, Mediterranean, Russia & Baltic for container and conventional.
  • Manage deviations and implement corrective action.
  • Manage internal and external communication / information requirements.
  • Communicate with suppliers and clients on deviations.
  • Coordinate workflow.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Shipping, International Trade etc.
  • Previous experience in freight forwarding or agriculture.
  • Computer literate

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Shipping, International Trade etc. (if applicable)
