About the Role
The Maintenance Manager/Management couple role is a critical position responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of various facilities, including hotels, l lodges, manufacturing units, commercial properties, and hospitality establishments. The ideal candidate will bring 35 years of experience in maintenance management or technical supervisory roles to this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects and teams effectively
- Handle contractor relationships and negotiations
- Write reports and maintain accurate records
- Lead meetings and make key decisions
- Perform regular site visits to ensure quality control
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (advantageous)
- Trade Test (Electrician, Plumber, Fitter, Millwright) Health C Safety Certification (e.g., SAMTRAC, NOSA)
- 35 years experience in maintenance management or technical supervisory
- Experience in hotel/lodge, manufacturing, commercial property, or hospitality maintenance is highly recommended
Qualifications
