About the Role
Medical Resources Group is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established Medical Centre in Modderfontein, for a professional and organised Medical Receptionist. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong administrative skills and experience in a medical practice environment, who can confidently manage front-desk operations while delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient bookings and appointment scheduling
- Operate the switchboard and handle incoming calls professionally
- Welcome and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain and update patient records accurately
- Process patient payments (POS) and handle account queries
- Perform general reception and administrative duties
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times
- Maintain an organised and efficient front-office environment
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 (Essential)
- Previous experience in a medical reception or healthcare administration role
- Strong computer literacy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Own Transport with a valid Driver’s Licence
