Job Description
- Health and Safety related degree
- Post grad qualification in Fleet Management or similar advantageous
- 8 years’ experience in occupational health and safety management
- 3 years’ management experience
- Proven ability to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels
- Safety Management Training Course (SAMTRAC) Certified
- Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality (SHERQ) Certified
- ISO 9001 and 14001 Certified
- Code 08 Driver’s Licence
Key Responsibilities:
To provide strategic and operational leadership of Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality
(SHERQ) management across the Group / nationally. The role ensures full compliance with applicable
legislation including the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 and drives a proactive safety culture
aligned with ISO standards and best practice. The role is accountable for risk mitigation, compliance oversight,
national OHS governance, and audit performance
