About the Role
We are seeking a Play Area Attendant to join our team at a wine estate in Stellenbosch I Brackenfell area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children using our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor children constantly to prevent accidents and injuries, ensuring a secure environment.
- Maintain high hygiene standards by cleaning and sanitizing toys, equipment, and the play area.
- Organize and lead games, crafts, and interactive activities for various age groups.
- Greet families warmly, manage registration/check-in, and communicate rules effectively.
- Provide first aid or handle emergencies in accordance with safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children and parents.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Energetic, patient, and engaging personality.
- Ability to stand, walk, and engage in active play for extended periods.
