About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-driven Property Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of luxury lodges within a remote hospitality environment. This hybrid role combines on-site lodge engagement with flexible remote working, ensuring strong financial control, reporting accuracy, and strategic financial support across multiple properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all property-level finance functions in line with group SOPs
- Review and approve purchase orders and ensure correct budget allocation
- Manage cash flow, including petty cash and credit card reconciliations
- Validate daily revenue submissions and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset registers and operating equipment registers
- Oversee inventory control, variance analysis, and stock system validation
Requirements
- BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 5 years finance experience (at least 2 years in hospitality essential)
- Strong experience with budgeting, reporting, and financial controls
- Advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills
- Experience with Sage (Intacct preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance teams
