About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced System Administrator with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our ICT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, performance, and alignment with global IT strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration: Manage AOS instances, analysis services, security roles, and user permissions.
- Environment Control: Manage code promotion and project deployments across Dev, Test, and Production environments.
- Database Care: Monitor SQL Server health, perform tuning, manage log files, and verify backups.
- EDI & Integration: Lead EDI onboarding and maintain existing integration functionality.
- Development Liaison: Act as the primary technical contact for external consultants and developers on ERP customizations.
- Training: Conduct user training sessions to ensure effective adoption of AX 2012.
- Server Maintenance: Maintain AX-related server software and hardware health.
- Hybrid Support: Provide high-level server/network troubleshooting and assist with Service Desk escalations as needed.
- Business Continuity: Execute disaster recovery protocols and regularly audit backup effectiveness.
- Documentation: Maintain ICT system documentation and conduct periodic access reviews.
- Global Alignment: Implement IT projects directed by Regional (RHQ) and Global (GHQ) headquarters.
- Change Control: Manage the full lifecycle of system changes, including Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), testing, and implementation monitoring.
Requirements
- ERP: Deep functional knowledge of Dynamics AX 2012 (Required)
- Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP) or equivalent (Preferred)
- Infrastructure: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (Beneficial)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in ICT
