About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Python DevOps Engineer to join our team as a semi-remote/ Centurion-based developer. As a key member of our development support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company’s test cycles and rollouts. Your expertise in Python, cloud infrastructure, and automation tools will be instrumental in maintaining high-quality development across all teams and third-party suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality checks on development projects
- Conduct support and error analysis during overall company test cycles and rollouts
- Manage public cloud providers (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS)
- Develop and maintain Microservices
- Collaborate with Agile development experience (e.g., scrum)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or similar qualification
- 3 – 5 years’ experience developing in Python
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in Public Cloud (Azure)
- At least 3-5 years ‘ experience in Python Developing
- At least 3 years ‘ experience with Test Frameworks
- Experience with ITIL Operation processes (Incident, Problem, Change management)
Salary & Benefits
R480 up to R600 per hour negotiable on experience and ability
